Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Mid-Level Network Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain a hybrid infrastructure environment serving a growing SaaS organization.

This role is ideal for an engineer with 3–5 years of experience who enjoys working across networking, systems administration, cloud technologies, and security. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations, improving reliability and security, and contributing to modernization initiatives as the organization continues its transition toward a cloud-first architecture.

Working closely with engineering leadership and external partners, this individual will help maintain critical infrastructure while gaining exposure to cloud transformation, automation, compliance, and security best practices.


Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Support and maintain a hybrid infrastructure environment spanning colocated data centers and Microsoft Azure
  • Assist in ensuring system uptime, reliability, backup processes, and disaster recovery readiness
  • Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, networking equipment, firewalls, VPNs, and related infrastructure services
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues impacting availability, security, or performance
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, and system improvements
  • Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, system inventories, and operational procedures

Cloud & Modernization

  • Support Azure administration and cloud-based services
  • Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives
  • Assist with infrastructure automation, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment process improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support application deployments and infrastructure requirements
  • Help implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions aligned with business needs

Security & Compliance

  • Assist with security monitoring, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and access management
  • Help maintain security controls across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Participate in incident response activities and security investigations as needed
  • Support SOC 2 Type II compliance efforts, including evidence collection, policy reviews, audit preparation, and remediation activities
  • Assist in responding to customer security questionnaires and compliance-related requests

Vendor & Team Collaboration

  • Work with managed service providers and technology vendors to support infrastructure operations
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve infrastructure and security-related issues
  • Contribute recommendations for improving operational processes, security posture, and system reliability
