Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our intel team. We are seeking a Software Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications delivering mission-critical capabilities across Infrastructure & Logistics (I&L). The selected candidate will play a key role supporting multiple Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications that enable enterprise business functions including asset management, facilities, transportation, and other corporate services.

This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across multiple technologies and technical disciplines. The selected candidate will support a diverse portfolio of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) enterprise applications utilizing both modern and legacy technology stacks. Responsibilities may include application development, system integration, application configuration and customization, cloud modernization, and production sustainment. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies as mission priorities evolve.

The ideal candidate is a versatile software developer with experience building and supporting enterprise applications. You should be comfortable working with Java, JavaScript, Oracle databases, and SQL, and have the aptitude and willingness to learn additional programming languages, frameworks, and technologies based on the needs of the products and applications you support.

  • Experience with Java development
  • Experience working with Oracle databases, including SQL development
  • Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular
  • Experience developing in the Linux operating system
  • Experience with Docker for containerized application deployment and management
  • Must be able to work between the core hours of 10AM-2PM. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
  • AWS experience 
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Experience working with the Atlassian Tool Suite
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with GitLab for version control
