We are hiring a Mid-Level M&S Developer to support key programs at NSWC Crane. This position will be based on-site at NWSC Crane. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interpret military mission threads and extract key attributes to be modeled
  • Interpret system technical documentation and extract key attributes to be modeled
  • Develop digital representations of system attributes and system behaviors
  • Integrate modeling elements into M&S toolsets that predict system-of-systems performance
  • Generate design documentation and maintain version control
  • Validate that M&S toolsets produce realistic results

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering job or scientific research job
  • 1+ years of experience integrating digital models to predict system-of-systems performance
  • 1+ years of experience working in a secure integrated data environment
  • Familiar with (or similar):
    • AFSIM
    • ITASE
    • Matlab
    • Python
    • SysML models
  • Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited engineering program, or computer science major, or mathematics major.
  • Must have an Active US Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI US Government Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret/ TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a systems engineering job or mission engineering job
  • Experience with military mission scenario modeling
  • Experience testing digital models or software products
  • Experience with radar, electronic surveillance, and radio datalinks
  • Experience with missile guidance and missile countermeasures
