Job description

In Order to Join the ELEVI Team you will need:

  • You must have a current or active security clearance with a poly.
  • Possess Fourteen (14) + years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • ELEVI is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Cybersecurity Infrastructure (CI) TTO which defends our nation's most critical unclassified and classified networks. This position is on the Integration team supporting the CTIaaS and MDTA mission threads and associated services.
    Required Skills/Experience:
    • Strong understanding of enterprise services such as NiFi
    • Knowledge of Cloud Service provider offerings, specifically AWS and Azure
    • Strong knowledge of data flow processing and data transformation
    • Working knowledge with Python, Java, Groovy, and Bash scripting
    • Working knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Bicep
    • Proficiency in Kubernetes containerization, orchestration, and scaling
    • Strong skills in service integration
    ** Telework available as tasking permits.

Some of the day-to-day activities:

  • The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the front end processing of data for a mission critical tool.
  • The individual will also support the modernization of the front end processing services.
  • Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
  • The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
  • The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.
