Rice Lake West, a self-performing general contractor specializing in  the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants and large concrete structures, needs an experienced mid- to high-level project manager to run work in North Dakota!  


Job Title:  Project Manager     Location:  Fargo, ND     Department:  Operations     FLSA Status:  Exempt     


Primary Function:  The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing all phases of projects from the hand off from estimating to completion ensuring the client's requirements are met and that jobs are completed ahead of schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company safety, quality, and procedural standards.


Educational Background:  Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Equivalent - or - Combination of technical training and experience.


Practical Knowledge:  Construction Means & Methods, Project Control Systems, Math and Complex Calculations, Critical Thinking as it applies to the breakdown and interpretation of Specifications and Plans, Scheduling, Data Analysis, Organizational Methods, Writing, Verbal Communication Skills, and Leadership.


Work Experience:  Minimum 7-10 years experience managing projects for a general contractor focused on building water and wastewater treatment plants as well as other highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects.
