Capgemini is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer / Visual Analytics Consultant with 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to transform complex data into actionable insights through advanced Power BI solutions. You will lead analytics initiatives, design scalable data models, develop impactful dashboards, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Your role
  • Analyze business requirements and assess data sources using advanced SQL to determine analytics solutions and project scope.
  • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI data models, calculations, measures, and security frameworks.
  • Connect, prepare, transform, and manage data from cloud-based data warehouses, including Snowflake, Redshift, Google Cloud SQL, and Azure SQL.
  • Create and maintain efficient datasets, views, and aggregations to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations following visual analytics and performance best practices.
  • Enable advanced insights through DAX, AI-driven analytics, conditional formatting, drill-through capabilities, and data storytelling techniques.
  • Collaborate with business users throughout requirements gathering, dashboard design, testing, deployment, and adoption.
  • Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, security, refresh schedules, deployment pipelines, and content lifecycle.
  • Lead project delivery, mentor junior team members, and provide guidance on analytics strategy and best practices.

Skills and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Power BI, BI development, or visual analytics consulting.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $119,700 - $159,500.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
