• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health and emotional wellness of clients during individual sessions.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals, regularly refining them based on progress.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, ensuring a diversity of therapeutic modalities is offered.
• Monitor client progress consistently and adjust treatment strategies as required to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute emotional distress, facilitating a quick response to mental health emergencies.
• Maintain confidential and accurate client records in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in supervision and training sessions to elevate clinical practice.
• Adhere to ethical practice and standards set forth by relevant licensing bodies throughout all service interactions.

The primary focus of your work will be with adolescents and young adults struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns related to substance use. Many clients benefit from peer support and shared experiences, fostering community and understanding through our virtual structure. You will play a significant role in not only addressing their clinical needs but also empowering them on their path to recovery by promoting healthy coping strategies.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• A compassionate disposition with a non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively are essential in this remote setting.
• No history of disciplinary actions on record with licensing boards.

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling is preferred, candidates with diverse professional backgrounds, particularly in working with youth and families, are encouraged to apply. Brilliant Lotus Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
