• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify patients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, ensuring individualized care plans are developed.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address complex mental health challenges.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, tracking patient progress and treatment efficacy to inform ongoing care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and chaplains, to ensure comprehensive patient support.
• Provide psychoeducation and emotional support to family members, equipping them with coping strategies and resources for their loved ones.
• Engage in continuous professional development by reviewing current research in mental health to inform innovative practice.

You will work with a diverse group of patients facing terminal illnesses, experiencing emotional distress and mental health challenges. This role requires a compassionate approach to suicide prevention, grief counseling, and emotional support tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families navigating end-of-life issues.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, emphasizing clinical practice.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or similar fields.
• Experience working with a wide range of ages and culturally diverse populations.
