Job description

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operator ( Reach Truck) to join our growing team in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience operating a reach truck along with a strong safety mindset and a can-do attitude.
Location: Reno, Nevada
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Shifts Available:

  • Monday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 3:30PM | $22.50/hr
  • Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | $22.50/hr

Job Description

As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely loading/unloading, moving, staging, and counting products throughout our distribution center. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with full benefits and career advancement

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate reach trucks to move, locate, stack, and count products
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy
  • Stage products for shipping following load count and customer requirements
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions
  • Maintain cleanliness through “clean as you go” practices
  • Comply with all PPE and safety guidelines
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
  • 1+ year of reach truck forklift experience (preferred)
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist for extended periods
  • Must wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, vests, and other site-specific PPE
  • Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude
  • Safety-first mindset
  • Must be able to perform other duties as assigned
