Network Engineer/Administrator /  New York City-Hybrid/ Contract

It will be 3-4 days in the office, and 1-2 remotely. It will also some weekend and afterhours activities related to firmware / software / hardware upgrades and network maintenance.

Manager Notes: We''re looking for a mid-level Network Administrator with about 3โ€“5 years of experience. A CCNA is nice to have, and hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki is required.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of relevant experience in Network Administrator. 
  • Strong knowledge of Network Security concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (MX, switches, wireless)
  • Solid understanding of Routing and Switching (L2/L3)
  • Experience with VPN technologies (Site-to-Site VPN)
  • Proven ability in Wi-Fi troubleshooting and wireless networking
  • Experience in Wi-Fi site surveys and RF analysis tools
  • Familiarity with incident management and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira etc.)
  • Strong communication and user interaction skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support network security infrastructure, including firewalls and secure connectivity
  • Configure and maintain Cisco Meraki (MX, switches, and wireless) environments
  • Perform Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Conduct Wi-Fi site surveys (pre and post deployment) to ensure optimal coverage and performance
  • Implement and support Site-to-Site VPN (S2S VPN) solutions
