Job Summary:
IS3 Solutions is seeking a CCNP Network Engineer to provide expert-level network engineering support for enterprise-wide network refresh activities. This role involves maintaining network stability, performing switch and router configuration, and supporting site readiness and cutover activities.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide LAN and WAN network support for Get Healthy initiatives.
โ€ข Maintain network stability and performance across enterprise and site-level environments.
โ€ข Support network connectivity for corporate, core, and distributed manufacturing sites.
โ€ข Perform switch and router configuration, remediation, and upgrade activities.
โ€ข Implement network changes in alignment with enterprise standards and change management processes.
โ€ข Validate configurations post-deployment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
โ€ข Assist with site readiness assessments and pre-cutover preparation activities.
โ€ข Support cutover execution and post-cutover stabilization efforts.
โ€ข Coordinate with site teams and WWT workstream leads to ensure smooth transitions.
โ€ข Support compliance with enterprise and site network standards across all refresh activities.
โ€ข Document configurations, changes, and network topologies in accordance with WWT standards.
โ€ข Participate in standards reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of network baselines.
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve network issues identified during refresh activities.
โ€ข Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
โ€ข Escalate complex issues appropriately and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Active Cisco CCNP certification (Routing & Switching or Enterprise) required.
โ€ข 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
โ€ข Strong proficiency in LAN/WAN technologies, including switching, routing, and WAN protocols.
โ€ข Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches (IOS/IOS-XE).
โ€ข Familiarity with enterprise network refresh and migration projects, including cutover planning.
โ€ข Knowledge of enterprise network standards, change management, and documentation practices.
โ€ข Experience supporting manufacturing or distributed site environments is a plus.
โ€ข Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues in fast-paced environments.
โ€ข Excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams and workstreams.
โ€ข Must be available to work onsite in Warren, MI five (5) days per week for the duration of the engagement.
Preferred:
โ€ข Familiarity with Cisco wireless infrastructure (preferred)
