Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular. The ideal candidate will provide ongoing support for Java-based applications, utilize Linux for various tasks, and contribute to application lifecycle management, including OS upgrades and platform migrations.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular
  • Provide ongoing support for Java-based applications, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Utilize Linux command-line tools for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks
  • Lead or contribute to application end-of-life management, including operating system upgrades and platform migrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage application portfolios and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, applying project management best practices
  • Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
  • Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Angular
  • Hands-on experience with Java application support and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Linux command-line operations
  • Experience with application lifecycle management, including OS upgrades and decommissioning
  • Familiarity with project or program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall)
  • Experience with design discussions for client side and server-side architectures
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Desired skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, or software engineering
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Java Programmer certification for Java/J2EE Platform
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
