Role Summary
Delivery developer supporting a public-facing intake application. Implements features, integrations, and fixes under the direction of the senior developer, with growing ownership of components and a clear expectation of accessible, secure, well-tested code.
Key Responsibilities
Implement assigned features, components, and defect fixes across the front end and services layer.
Build and configure CMS content types, forms, views, and custom modules to specification.
Develop and consume REST APIs; implement request/response handling, validation, and error paths.
Write unit and integration tests; participate in code review as both author and reviewer.
Remediate accessibility and security findings within assigned components.
Support CI/CD pipeline execution, build troubleshooting, and deployment verification.
Document technical work and contribute to the knowledge base and runbooks.
Participate fully in Agile ceremonies and provide accurate estimates and status.
Develop Drupal 10+ / MySQL components for deployment on PACE or comparable container platforms under established architecture and coding standards.
Create and maintain unit, integration, and automated UI/API tests (including Cypress where assigned) and support CI/CD quality gates and release evidence.
Implement Section 508, responsive/browser compatibility, security, audit logging, and data-validation requirements within assigned features.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of professional software development on web applications.
Hands-on Drupal development (site building plus custom module or theme work) or equivalent CMS depth with willingness to specialize.
PHP and/or C#/.NET, plus JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
SQL fundamentals and relational data modeling.
REST API development and integration experience.
Git-based workflows and CI/CD familiarity.
Awareness of WCAG 2.1 AA accessible development practices.
Proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling.
Agile/Scrum team experience.
Working experience with automated testing in JavaScript/TypeScript using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent is preferred; willingness to contribute automation is required.
Exposure to Drupal/MySQL on containers, REST APIs, GitLab CI/CD, and federal accessibility/security practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Drupal Webform module experience.
AWS or container/Kubernetes exposure.
Prior government or regulated-industry project experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience or bootcamp plus demonstrable portfolio considered.
