Job description

Job Summary:
Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a MicroStrategy Administrator to manage, install, and support MicroStrategy BI platforms on Linux and AWS. This administration role involves deployment, migration, troubleshooting, and automation.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and administer MicroStrategy (on-prem & cloud).
• Support migrations (on-prem → AWS, data center → data center).
• Manage deployments across dev, test, and prod environments.
• Automate tasks with scripting (Python, Shell).
• Support performance tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide on-call support.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of MicroStrategy administration (Linux/VMware)
• Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, migrations)
• SQL (Postgres, MySQL) expertise
• Scripting (Shell/Python) for automation
Preferred:
• Experience with Power BI; AWS QuickSight a plus
• Knowledge of LDAP/AD, Redshift, Aurora Postgres
• Certifications in MicroStrategy or AWS are a plus
