Job description

Manage international Windchill documentation system including the management of member, groups, roles and the many data types that make up the whole of the international organization's documentation needs. Lead efforts to improve Windchill workflow, procedures, and standards to allow for efficient creation and processing of Windchill documents with minimal Admin intervention. Provide training on Windchill, Creo and Autocad to Tulsa Engineering department as required. Supervise and manage Tulsa Designers to ensure efficient creation and processing of documents to support Engineering projects/products.
  • Manage and coordinate all activities related to international Document Control system (Windchill)
  • Manage Windchill access control rules per given policy.
  • Manage international Windchill organization folders, cabinets and documents
  • Develop, manage, and improve standards, procedures, and workflow related to Windchill to improve process efficiency
  • Develop, manage, and improve ECR/ECN workflow to improve process efficiency
  • Manage Codification between US and Russian parts in 1C
  • Manage international Windchill classifications/attributes
  • Manage Windchill teams (international)
  • Provide training and support for new and existing Windchill users
  • Coordinate international Windchill records/activities with Russian Windchill
  • Answer Engineering tickets
  • Manage and coordinate all Tulsa Designer activities in support of Tulsa Engineering
  • Monitor and improve Designer competency and performance with workflows associated with Windchill, Creo, and AutoCad
  • Assign and manage workload for Tulsa Designers; monitor performance against estimates
  • Manage and maintain CAD software portfolio and advise Management when to implement new revisions
  • Provide training and technical support for CAD software for Tulsa Engineering group
  • Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in design or engineering technology, or equivalent years of directly related experience.
  • Drafting Certification from Technical School is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of draftsman/design/layout experience required
  • Minimum of 10 years of use of engineering document and PLM software packages

Skillls:

  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or company specific databases.
  • Good oral and written communication and analytical skills.
  • Must have experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with stringent deadlines, and working in an environment, which requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service skills, and organization.
  • Experience with CAD/Drafting software tools
  • Extensive experience using PTC-Windchill

Other:

  • Normal office environment and occasional exposure to plant environment during the course of normal job duties
  • Occasionally required to move about the facility
  • Occasional travel and on-call required
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, hard hat and safety shoes while in shop environment or on job site
