About The Opportunity

The CAD Operator creates CAD files to be used directly with automated manufacturing equipment in the production of steel rule dies and associated tooling to aid in providing a high quality large format product, producing indoor and outdoor POP items.

Essential Functions:
  • Create CAD files to be used directly with automated manufacturing equipment in the production of steel rule dies and associated tooling.
  • Create structural designs of folding cartons using CAD.
  • Prepare structural prototypes, dimensioned drawings, manufacturing and use instructions.
  • Review detailed order information and evaluate for machinability and production of tooling.
  • Research specification, materials and application requirements for projects as needed.
  • Clearly communicate information needed for manufacturing based on specific requirements of each job.
  • Coordinate with outside suppliers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.
