General Summary
The Academic Partnerships department is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable student worker to assist with administrative tasks, data management, and professional communication. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. This role will also involve working closely with College Connection Coaches to support student outreach and engagement efforts.
Specific Position Duties
  • Work with College Connection Coaches to support student outreach, communication, and engagement initiatives.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks.
  • Send professional emails to staff regarding grade reporting and other administrative matters.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling student and faculty records.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, when interacting with students, staff, and faculty.
  • Take initiative to complete tasks efficiently and proactively seek clarification when needed.
  • Ensure timeliness and reliability in meeting deadlines and completing assignments.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, organizing, and assisting with office duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficiency in computers, including experience with Microsoft Excel and email communication.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Dependable and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance to ensure task completion on schedule.
