Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to analyze, design, and develop computer software required to support hardware or technical service products.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supports program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
  • Builds innovative, robust, and efficient software solutions as a major contributor to a team
  • Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning
  • Investigates and resolves defects related to the developed software systems.
  • Oversees the quality of test activities during the release of products to production.
  • Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of related professional experience
  • Proficiency in object-oriented software design, containerization, and CI/CD deployments
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced subject matter expertise
  • Advanced technical and operational proficiency in software engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and practices
  • Advanced written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues, under pressure and/or deadlines
  • Proficient in developing software in one or more operating systems environment (Windows, Linux, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills
  • Must be a US citizen
