Location: Honolulu, HI (On-site)

Build automation solutions supporting Navy operations in Hawaii
Dynamic Planning & Response LLC (DP&R) is a veteran-owned small business delivering innovative technology, professional services, and mission support solutions to federal agencies.
We are hiring an RPA Software Developer to support the Navy Information Operations Command Hawaii (NIOCH). In this role, you will design, build, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Automate, to improve operational efficiency, information management, and mission effectiveness.
This is an on-site role in Honolulu, Hawaii supporting a federal government customer.
What you'll do
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain RPA solutions
  • Build workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate
  • Partner with the N6 Information Technology Directorate to gather automation and business intelligence requirements
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation solutions and business intelligence tools
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for workflows, automations, data sources, and implementation details
  • Evaluate Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM) repositories and recommend improvements that support automation initiatives
  • Support business intelligence efforts using Microsoft 365 tools and available Power Platform technologies
  • Ensure all solutions comply with Department of Defense policies, security requirements, and organizational standards

Required qualifications
  • Experience developing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience documenting technical solutions, workflows, and business processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a government team

Security clearance requirement
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
  • Must be able to maintain the clearance throughout the period of performance

Required certifications
The following certifications must be obtained within one month of employment. DP&R will reimburse examination fees:
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (PL-500)
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)

Preferred qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
  • Microsoft Power Apps
  • Power BI
  • SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Business process analysis and optimization
  • Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM)
  • Department of Defense or other federal government environments
