Microsoft Elevate is seeking a Cloud & AI Solution Engineering Manager to lead a team supporting some of the largest and most strategically important Education (K-12), Nonprofit, and International Government Organization (IGO) customers across the Americas.
This leader will help drive customer cloud transformation, application modernization, AI adoption, and Cloud & AI platform success while developing a high-performing team of Solution Engineers and accelerating business outcomes. They will help customers realize the value of Microsoft's end-to-end platform through secure, compliant, and well-governed solutions that enable innovation and responsible AI adoption.
In this role you will have people leadership with hands-on experience delivering large-scale cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and enterprise transformation programs, bringing technical credibility, a player-coach mindset, and the ability to scale impact through trusted partnerships and collaboration across Microsoft, customers, and the broader technology ecosystem to help mission-driven organizations achieve greater impact through technology.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of Azure Solution Engineers supporting some of Microsoft's largest Education, Nonprofit, and IGO customers across the Americas, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Drive customer transformation outcomes through cloud migration, application modernization, AI adoption, and Cloud & AI platform innovation.
  • Accelerate customer success by helping organizations realize the value of Microsoft's end-to-end platform, including Azure, AI, security, governance, compliance, and modern application capabilities.
  • Build and steward trusted relationships across customers, partners, Microsoft engineering, product groups, and cross-functional teams to scale impact, remove barriers, and unlock resources that accelerate customer outcomes.
  • Partner across sales, customer success, engineering, marketing, partner, and corporate organizations to deliver integrated solutions and advance business priorities.
  • Champion responsible AI adoption with your team by helping customers establish secure, governed, and scalable foundations for innovation and transformation.
  • Scale technical impact through repeatable solution plays, technical communities, partner ecosystems, and resource optimization strategies that maximize reach across a large and diverse customer base.
  • Develop technical talent and future leaders by coaching, mentoring, and empowering team members to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud computing, enterprise architecture, application modernization, digital transformation, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading large-scale cloud migration, modernization, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading and developing technical professionals, engineering organizations, solution architecture teams, consulting teams, or virtual technical teams.
  • Demonstrated technical depth in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and customer transformation strategies.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Experience helping customers achieve cloud, AI, data, and application modernization outcomes through Microsoft, another cloud provider, consulting organization, systems integrator, or technology partner.
  • Azure certifications or demonstrated expertise across Azure, AI, data, security, and modern application technologies.

Solution Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
