Job Description:

Position: Power platform Developer

Location: Washington DC (1-2 days onsite per week)

JD:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development, with proven delivery in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe teams.
  • Power Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Common Data Service (Dataverse).
  • Canvas and Model-Driven Apps: Ability to design, develop, and deploy both Canvas apps and Model-driven apps.
  • Data Integration: Experience integrating Power Apps with various data sources such as SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, and other APIs.
  • Power Automate: Proficient in creating automated workflows to streamline business processes.
  • Custom Connectors: Ability to develop and use custom connectors for extending Power Apps functionality.
  • JavaScript and Power Fx: Knowledge of Power Fx (the Power Apps formula language) and JavaScript for advanced customizations.
  • UI/UX Design: Skills in designing user-friendly, responsive, and accessible app interfaces.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Security and Compliance: Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance in Power Platform environments.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional Power Apps solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps.
  • Integrate Power Apps with various data sources and external systems.
  • Design and implement Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.
  • Customize applications using Power Fx formulas and JavaScript as needed.
  • Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Apps and Power Platform solutions.
  • Maintain documentation and provide user training and support.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power Platform features and best practices.

Qualifications:
