The Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI COE) is responsible for delivering AI-first, enterprise-scale analytics that power data-driven decision-making across Microsoft's Partner and Seller ecosystem. Our mission is to transform fragmented data into a single, trusted source of truth, enabling actionable insights, automation, and intelligent experiences.
This Senior Business Analytics Specialist sitsat the intersection of AI, data platform engineering, and advanced analytics, driving the integration of Marketing dataset with Partner OSOT data to enable end-to-end partner journey visibility across MarTech systems and reporting platforms.
You will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of AI-powered BI solutions, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and semantic modelling to deliver scalable, high-performance, and governed analytics experiences.
Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Semantic Modeling Leadership
  • Design and own enterprise-grade semantic models supporting Partner and Marketing analytics.
  • Define and implement data architecture standards, modeling patterns, and OSOT-aligned data structures.
  • Lead design of integrated data models combining Marketing OSOST and Partner OSOT datasets for unified reporting.

AI-First BI & Analytics Innovation
  • Enable AI-driven insights, Copilot scenarios, and intelligent analytics experiences leveraging Fabric and Power BI.
  • Build AI-ready semantic layers that support natural language querying, automation, and predictive insights.
  • Drive adoption of AI-first principles across BI COE analytics and reporting solutions.

End-to-End Partner Journey Analytics
  • Develop holistic analytics solutions that track partner lifecycle across marketing, pipeline, revenue, and engagement systems.
  • Translate complex MarTech and Partner data into intuitive dashboards and decision-ready insights.
  • Ensure alignment to business outcomes such as partner growth, consumption, and engagement metrics.

Data Platform & Engineering Execution
  • Lead data engineering pipelines (ingestion, transformation, modeling) within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of Power BI datasets and Fabric workloads.
  • Implement row-level security (RLS), governance, and compliance standards across data assets.

Stakeholder Engagement & Product Mindset
  • Partner with Product Managers, Executive Business stakeholders, and Engineering teams to shape roadmap and prioritize BI investments.
  • Act as a BI product owner / technical leader, ensuring solutions meet adoption, usability, and ROI goals.
  • Drive self-service enablement and data democratization across the Partner ecosystem.
  • Deliver a unified, AI-powered analytics platform for Partner + Marketing insights
  • Enable single source of truth (OSOT) across partner journeys
  • Reduce time-to-insight through optimized semantic models and self-service BI
  • Drive adoption of Fabric + AI-first BI strategy across BI COE

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 3+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifcations
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics.
Semantic modeling (Power BI / Tabular / DAX) experience.
Data architecture and dimensional modeling (star schema, OSOT principles) experience.
Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Direct Lake, pipelines, OneLake) experience.
Power BI (dataset optimization, reporting, governance) experience.
Experience building end-to-end data pipelines and analytics solutions at scale.
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Experience in Partner ecosystem, Sales/Marketing analytics, or MarTech data integration.
Familiarity with AI-driven BI scenarios (Copilot, predictive analytics, data agents).
Experience integrating multiple enterprise datasets into unified reporting models.
Experience in matrixed, cross-functional environments and influence stakeholders.
Storytelling skills with ability to translate data into business impact.
Business Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
