Job description

The Microsoft Power Platform App Maker (Developer/Engineer) has developed and supports a large case management and workflow solution for a client. We require a knowledgeable Power Platform App Maker (Developer/Engineer) to join an existing team for ongoing support, maintenance, and development of the application. This is a hands-on development and engineering role that requires the knowledge and experience that comes from having built, deployed, and supported Microsoft Dataverse Model-driven Power Apps. You will have a can-do attitude and be prepared to pick-up whatever needs to be done and approach it with a sense of urgency while delivering quality production-ready solutions. You'll be working in a collaborative environment with constantly evolving priorities and requirements. You must be comfortable working in an open transparent collaborative team model, including pair programming.

The Work:

  • Become deeply familiar with the overall solution architecture, the code bases, and the data model across both Microsoft Dataverse and C#/.NET services running in Azure.
  • In response to new requirements and identified bugs design, develop, and test solutions both in Microsoft Dataverse and in C#/.NET containerized services.
  • Build and release pipeline development using common source control and build pipeline systems such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Write tests for your code that will meet our project's requirements for automated testing.
  • Review, document, and understand existing Microsoft Power Platform Canvas Apps and Power Automate Flows.
  • As required make recommendations (including estimated level of effort) to improve the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of the application.
  • Actively and constructively participate in backlog grooming and story refinement activities with client engagement.
  • Design, implementation, and testing of enhancements to existing apps and creation of new apps, including Power Automate Flows, Power BI Reports & Dashboards, and other Power Platform functionality (as available and needed.).

Here's What You Need:

  • Experience developing model-driven Power Apps in Microsoft Dataverse, including C# plugin development
  • Experience w/AI-driven development using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, CLIN, RooCode, etc. 
  • Experience w/development of .NET/C# applications (console apps, containerized apps, Azure Functions, etc.)
  • Experience w/Power Platform Canvas Power App Development
  • Experience w/Power Automate Flows
  • Experience w/Data model design
  • Experience w/Power Platform Environment configuration and administration
