Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect – Azure / SQL
Location: Northville, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Onsite
Employment Type: Fulltime

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect to design and implement modern data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on architecture experience across Fabric and Azure services, with an emphasis on Lakehouse, OneLake, data integration, SQL, security, and cloud architecture.

This role is not focused on traditional enterprise data warehouse development. We are looking for an architect who can leverage the broader Microsoft Fabric platform to build scalable, modern analytics solutions.

Required Skills
  • Strong experience as a Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect / Azure Data Architect.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake.
  • Strong Azure architecture experience.
  • Strong SQL / T-SQL development and performance-tuning skills.
  • Experience with Fabric Lakehouse, Data Factory/Pipelines, Notebooks, SQL Analytics Endpoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience integrating Azure SQL Database with Fabric.
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Azure networking, and Entra ID.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and architecture best practices.
  • Experience designing scalable, production-grade cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft Fabric certifications or relevant Azure certifications.
  • Experience with Direct Lake, Delta Lake, Spark, and PySpark.
  • Experience with Fabric deployment pipelines and Azure DevOps/Git.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview and Fabric governance.
  • Experience modernizing legacy data platforms to Microsoft Fabric.
  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
