The impact you'll have:

As an Architect you will leverage your AWS expertise and work with our presales teams to meet with customers and create comprehensive cloud strategies that align with the organization's business objectives. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead implementation Projects as part of a team that includes DevOps Engineers and Project Management. What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to understand business requirements and design comprehensive technology solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development.
  • Assume technical leader role during design and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Provide overviews of complex solutions, architectures, integrations and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security standards and compliance best practices
  • Communicating proactively with project managers, project teams, and customers.
  • Creating and updating project documentation as required by project leads.
  • Mentoring junior engineers
  • Engaging in internal initiatives to build the AWS practice by developing new solutions, learning new skills, and collaborating with the team.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 8 - 10 years of work experience leveraging AWS solutions and services
      • Leadership in large Tech Consulting or Software Development projects
      • In-depth knowledge of cloud services, microservices (Kubernetes) and enterprise integration, specifically related to AWS
      • Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure and services
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
  • Advanced Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
      • Expertise in at least one of Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Scripting or Programming Languages:
      • Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, or Java.
  • Advanced Knowledge of IT principles:
      • In-depth knowledge of IT principles in at least one of: Networking, Security, Hardware or Software
  • Expert level understanding of DevOps Culture, Methodologies and Tooling:
      • At least 5 years of experience using and managing tools such as Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Prometheus and Docker.
  • Preferred Certifications:
      • AWS: Solutions Architect - Professional
      • AWS: Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

You will also bring:

  • Track record of successful enterprise level architecture implementations
  • Demonstrated influence on organizational technical direction
  • Development of cross functional relationships and collaboration
  • Proven success with technical pre-sales
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $120,800 to $151,000 annually + 14% Target Incentives.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
