About the role

Automated Logic is looking for a Trainer - Building Automation Systems - who will be responsible for providing training and support to Automated Logic Field offices in North America. This position will require 50% travel to various locations within the USA (length of 5 days at a time), possibly internationally, to educate internal employees and customers in the design, installation, and maintenance of the building automation systems solutions (i.e. WebCTRL) that we offer with a focus on the Datacenter market.

This is an onsite at clients' role and we are looking for someone that lives close to a local office in any of these states (Nevada, Texas, Arizona, Illinois, Wisconsin) and willing to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging, hands-on training and instruction for engineers, installers, and end-users on WebCTRL software and hardware within mission-critical datacenter environments.
  • Drive Learning Outcomes, foster an inclusive, interactive environment covering Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) controls, Direct Digital Controls (DDC), and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
  • Design task-based technical exercises and content, real-world troubleshooting scenarios, and custom learning modules.
  • Partner directly with North American field offices and clients on-site to deliver localized training sessions.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in installation or servicing Building Automation Systems.
  • 1+ year of experience of mentoring, presenting, educating, or training others in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) / Direct Digital Controls (DDC) field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • System Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Automated Logic WebCTRL / Carrier i-Vu systems or other industry products (specifics).
  • Datacenter Operations: Deep understanding of commercial datacenter infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and lighting control interactions.
  • Instructional Tools: Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), instructional design methods, and Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Communication: Proven ability to simplify highly technical content, manage project timelines, and consult effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
