  • Lead data warehouse builds, third-party data integrations, and report automation projects end to end
  • Guide and review the work of data engineers embedded on client teams
  • Translate ambiguous client requirements ("our data is a mess and we don't have a clear picture") into a concrete architecture roadmap
  • Support emerging AI/LLM engineering work retrieval-augmented knowledge bases, custom agents, and AI-assisted analytics grounded in governed data platforms
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor directly with client stakeholders CIOs, VPs of Analytics, and business leaders not just internal engineering teams

What You Bring

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of SQL
  • Prior consulting, agency, or professional services experience strongly preferred you're comfortable being client-facing and managing multiple engagements at once
  • Experience with data security/governance best practices (Azure data security assessments a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to explain architecture decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bonus: exposure to AI/LLM tooling, RAG pipelines, or agentic workflows
