Are you goal-driven? Then the WIOA Adult Workforce Connector position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.

As a WIOA Adult Workforce Connector, you will be responsible for building relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to connect participants to available services and to aid individuals who need further assistance.

Successful Elements

  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations
  • Manage a caseload of participants by tracking participant progress toward education, training, and employment outcomes by updating records, submitting required case notes
  • Conduct intake, eligibility determination, and case management when appropriate
  • Ensure concise and timely case management of all participants by completing required documentation and updates in CWDS and other designated systems of record
  • Recruit applicants through outreach strategies including satellite sites, job fairs, schools, community organizations, and referral partners
  • Provide information to participants interested in educational training, create required individual Training Account documentation, and submit all completed materials for review and processing

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or some college preferred
  • Demonstrated telephone, computer, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet contract and operational needs
