Job description

Overview

This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the organization's server, directory, and cloud infrastructure.  This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient operation of systems supporting business applications and end users, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, and server management.

*This is an in-office role, required to work at ServiceLink's office in Plano, TX.  As such, all candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of our office, and must be willing and able to work in-office on a daily basis.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Azure & Cloud Services

  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity integration.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including user accounts, groups, access controls, and rolebased access.
  • Monitor cloud resources to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
  • Support hybrid environments integrating onpremises infrastructure with Azure services.

Active Directory

  • Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) management cleanup and organizational unit (OU) structure.
  • Group Policy Objects (GPOs) configuration management.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain security best practices.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
  • Mitigation of vulnerabilities on servers and desktops, as identified by SOC.

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate system documentation and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT support, network, security, and application teams to resolve incidents and implement changes.
  • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 escalation support for complex technical issues.

Desktop Deployment and Project Support

  • Assist with large-scale projects, including mass hardware deployments and onsite high-level support of critical initiatives.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-7 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support.
  • Strong handson experience with:
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC)
    • Group Policy Objects (GPO)
    • Windows Server administration
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud/onprem environments.
  • Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with Conditional Access Policy endpoint management.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
