We are seeking a skilled and motivated M365 Solution Consultant to join our technology solutions practice. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft 365 environments. You will leverage deep expertise across the M365 ecosystem to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.
This is a client-facing consulting role that requires both strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate complex technology strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for understanding client goals, aligning M365 capabilities to business outcomes, and driving successful project delivery from discovery through deployment.

  • Solution Architecture – Skill in designing scalable, secure M365 environments aligned to client needs.

What you will do:
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients on Microsoft 365 adoption, architecture, governance, and optimization.
  • Design and implement M365 solutions including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and related workloads.
  • Lead and execute SharePoint content migration projects using ShareGate or comparable migration tools, ensuring data integrity, minimal disruption, and adherence to timelines.
  • Administer and configure the M365 Admin Center, including user management, licensing, service configuration, and tenant health monitoring.
  • Implement and manage identity and access controls through Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), including Conditional Access policies, MFA, and role-based access management.
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender and Intune solutions to enforce endpoint security, compliance policies, and device management at the enterprise level.
  • Guide clients in the adoption and use of Microsoft 365 Copilot, including readiness assessments, rollout planning, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and present M365 licensing strategies and recommendations aligned with client requirements and budget considerations.
  • Conduct technology assessments, gap analyses, and produce actionable roadmaps for enterprise M365 environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, networking, and business stakeholders to ensure holistic solution delivery.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials for clients and internal teams.
  • Stay current with Microsoft product roadmaps, feature releases, and industry best practices to continuously enhance client recommendations.

Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technology solutions consulting, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and enterprise productivity platforms.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online and content management best practices, including information architecture, permissions management, and governance.
  • Demonstrated expertise with the M365 Admin Center, including tenant-level administration and service management.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity management, SSO, Conditional Access, and directory synchronization.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity) and security best practices within M365.
  • Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
  • Proven experience leading SharePoint content migration projects using ShareGate, Metalogix, or similar enterprise migration tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities, deployment considerations, and responsible AI governance.
  • Strong understanding of M365 licensing models, including E3/E5 plans, add-on licensing, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations for executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with enterprise technology ecosystems, including integration patterns, hybrid environments, and third-party platforms.

Preferred Experience
  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, SC-300, MD-102, or equivalent M365/Azure credentials.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview (compliance, data governance, and information protection).
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and its integration within M365 workflows.
  • Background in enterprise change management, user adoption programs, and training delivery.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Viva suite and employee experience platforms.
  • Experience in a professional services consulting or managed services environment.

Compensation, Diversity and Benefit Information:
The pay range for this position in Washington is $55-$80/hr. W2 plus benefits; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
