Java Cloud Microservices Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA (willing to travel to client locations)

Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Java Cloud Microservices Engineer to design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications. This role focuses on leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes to build robust microservices architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-native Java microservices using Spring Boot on AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures with Kafka or RabbitMQ for real-time data processing.
  • Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability using monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
  • Drive CI/CD automation with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps to streamline deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of microservices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience with Java development, specifically using Spring Boot for microservices.
  • Proficiency in designing microservices, developing REST APIs, and deploying in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native development practices.
  • Experience with event-driven systems and tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of advanced cloud-native tools like AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or Helm for Kubernetes management.
