SUMMARY:
IH&S Oak Harbor Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the professional appearance of the facility and directing the work of reporting team members. In addition, the Facilities Supervisor is responsible for Environmental Health and Safety at the site level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Manage scheduling outside contractors as necessary to maintain the site.
  • Clearly define scope of work and inspect / approve work performed by third parties.
  • Effectively and professionally fix facilities issues from hardware to plumbing.
  • Maintain systems readiness for events such as windstorms or other inclement weather such as generators and other infrastructure.
  • Serve as site Safety Point of Contact.
  • Maintain monthly reporting to Corporate EHS database software (BGS).
  • Report on waste annually as required by the Department of Ecology & EPA.
  • Own waste removal process (Safety Kleen).
  • File OSHA 300A as required by OSHA.
  • Develop and maintain proactive schedule of monthly, quarterly and annual site maintenance (QCBD).
  • Effectively supervise the facilities team of maintenance personnel and janitorial employees.
  • Maintain primary ownership of emergency response such as alarm systems and after hour issues.
  • Effectively manage the maintenance ticket system (Zendesk) by assigning and completing tickets as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 years' experience in a facilities maintenance role or other related field preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experienced working with hand-tools.
  • Experience with plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical.
  • Valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Capable of focusing on details with regard to products and problems over extended period of time.
  • Visual acuity for reading computer screens and handwritten/typewritten documents.
  • Speaking and hearing ability for telephone and in-person communications.
  • Capable of mobility and travel.
  • Able to travel via automobile, airplane, trains, or buses.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $61,200.00 - $91,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
