Microelectronics Assembler

Hauppauge, NY | 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Temp-to-Hire

About the Opportunity
A leading Long Island manufacturer of high-reliability electronic components used in aerospace, defense, and medical applications is seeking a Microelectronics Assembler to join its production team.

This is a hands-on role in a cleanroom environment, assembling precision microelectronic and hybrid components that must meet strict quality standards. If you enjoy detailed, technical work and want to grow your skills in advanced manufacturing, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career.


What You’ll Do

  • Assemble and process electronic and hybrid microelectronic components using precision tools and equipment
  • Perform cleanroom operations, including hand or furnace soldering, wire bonding, and mechanical assembly
  • Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and assembly drawings
  • Complete production steps accurately within established cycle times
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Set up and maintain your workstation and assist with material movement as needed
  • Follow all safety, ESD, and cleanroom protocols to maintain a controlled environment

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years of electronic or microelectronic assembly experience (cleanroom experience preferred)
  • Comfort working under a microscope for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail, steady hands, and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with basic computer use for documentation and production tracking
  • Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • High School Diploma or GED required
