Job Description:Microchip Technology Inc. has an Engineer I-Applications opening in the Secure Computing Group (SCG) in our Austin, TX office. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, test, and support embedded firmware solutions for Secure Computing products, with a strong focus on Embedded Controller (EC) applications for x86 and Arm-based PC platforms. You will work closely with engineering, validation, marketing, and customer teams to support product deployment, customer onboarding, hardware and system-level integration, troubleshooting, and technical enablement activities. The position also involves delivering technical demonstrations, resolving customer issues through Salesforce, developing application notes and technical collateral, and supporting customers throughout the product adoption lifecycle while working with geographically distributed teams.
