Job description

Spa Manager or Assistant manager position (based upon experience) available for busy, boutique day spa. We are looking for a high energy, customer service focused manager who can create a fun and happy yet efficient workplace and make clients feel special. Also needs to be a problem solver that stays away from drama and keeps staff and our calendar on track.

Needs to be available to work either on call or in person one weekend day plus a couple of weekdays. Some administrative work can be performed from home once fully trained. The owners and current front desk manager need to move some duties to the Spa Mgr and there is some flexibility regarding which move to the new Spa Manager.  Experience managing a Spa or Med Spa and managing estheticians/massage therapists a plus.

Duties can include:

Staffing schedules - Assisting with the hiring process - HR/new employee paperwork and training - reviewing time cards - purchasing/inventory - managing front desk staff - overseeing all front desk/scheduling processes and forms - On call as a back up for front desk shifts - Keeping studio orderly - Social media - marketing and promotions - Creating new displays each month - studio operations such as interacting with property manager - Manage any studio repairs/replacing items - oversee the esthetician and therapists plus their back bar inventory.  There are other possible duties.

Pay is based upon experience. If you are also a licensed esthetician or massage therapist it is possible to have a dual role as part time spa manager and part time therapist. Compensation includes: Monthly bonus opportunity, Retirement plan including Employer Contributions to your IRA, paid time off, free facial and massage each month, free products plus discounts on all products and services.
