Microblading In information

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

Microblading artists can earn $10,000 or more per month through client appointments, especially with experience, a strong portfolio, and effective marketing. Success depends on skill, reputation, and location, often requiring certification but not a formal degree.

Is microblading a good career?

Microblading is a growing career in the beauty industry that involves semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing using specialized tools and pigments. Success in this field requires certification, skill development, and building a client base, often leading to flexible schedules and entrepreneurial opportunities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Microblading Technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Microblading Technician, you need a strong foundation in cosmetic tattooing, color theory, and facial symmetry, typically supported by completion of a certified microblading training program and relevant licensure. Familiarity with sterilization procedures, microblading tools, pigment brands, and aftercare systems is crucial. Exceptional attention to detail, steady hand precision, and effective client communication set top professionals apart. These skills ensure safe, high-quality, and aesthetically pleasing results that foster client trust and satisfaction.

What are microblading artists?

Microblading artists are trained professionals who use a specialized hand-held tool to create semi-permanent, natural-looking eyebrow enhancements by depositing pigment into the skin. They design and shape brows according to each client's facial features and preferences, providing fuller, more defined eyebrows. Microblading artists typically undergo specific training and certification to ensure safe and hygienic practices. Many also offer consultations to discuss desired outcomes and aftercare instructions for the best results.

What are some common challenges microblading artists face during client appointments, and how can they be managed?

Microblading artists often encounter challenges such as managing client expectations, addressing varying skin types, and ensuring precise symmetry in brow design. Effective communication before the procedure helps clarify desired outcomes, while thorough skin analysis allows for technique adjustments to account for factors like oiliness or sensitivity. Using mapping tools and regularly measuring throughout the process helps ensure balanced, natural-looking results. Additionally, microblading artists must stay updated with sanitation protocols and aftercare guidance to promote client satisfaction and safety.

How much do you tip for $400 microblading?

For a microblading artist, tipping 15-20% of the service cost is customary. For a $400 procedure, a tip of $60-$80 is typical, depending on the quality of service and your satisfaction.

Why are people removing microblading?

Microblading professionals may remove microblading due to dissatisfaction with the results, allergic reactions, or fading over time. Removal typically involves laser treatments or topical solutions, and it requires proper training and certification to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Job description

Mobile Tattoo Supply Rep, Route Sales XACTbodyart

Location: Palm Beach County, FL Home Base: Riviera Beach, FL Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, W-2 Employee Pay: $20.00/hour base plus uncapped commission and performance bonuses

About the Job

First things first: we want someone who genuinely loves tattoo culture.

Not someone who tolerates it. Someone who lights up walking into a shop. Someone who enjoys talking to artists, piercers, PMU professionals, and shop owners. If shop talk is your favorite kind of talk, keep reading. This job may be built for you.

Here is the gig. You drive a fully stocked mobile tattoo supply van to tattoo, piercing, and permanent makeup studios throughout Palm Beach County. You are the supplier they actually look forward to seeing. You show up consistently, know people by name, show them what is new, get them what they need, ring up sales on the spot, and head to the next shop.

Think of the van as a professional tattoo supply shop on wheels, and you are the person running it.

This is not a basic delivery driver job. You are the face of XACTbodyart in the field. The relationships you build are the reason the route works.

About XACTbodyart

XACTbodyart is part of Medical Technology Products, Inc., a solid family business based in Riviera Beach with more than 25 years of experience in precision sharps and medical-device distribution.

We have built a dominant needle business in the acupuncture market, and we are now bringing that same focus on quality, consistency, and reliability into the tattoo, piercing, and PMU industries.

Our proprietary XACT line includes tattoo cartridges, tattoo needles, piercing needles, and related professional products. We are also building the van around the products working shops need every day, including tattoo supplies, piercing supplies, PMU products, gloves, disposables, aftercare, and other shop essentials.

This route is new, which means the right person gets the chance to help build it from the ground up.

What Is on the Van

  • Tattoo cartridges and needles, including our proprietary XACT line
  • Tattoo machines, equipment, and accessories
  • Body jewelry, piercing tools, and piercing supplies
  • PMU pigments, microblading tools, and consumables
  • Sterilization supplies, practice skin, aftercare, gloves, and disposables
  • Other professional shop essentials that tattoo, piercing, and PMU studios use every day

What Your Week Looks Like

  • Drive your Palm Beach County route, visiting studios throughout the day
  • Load and organize the van so it is ready for each route
  • Walk into shops, greet artists and owners, talk through products, take orders, and ring up sales on the spot
  • Introduce customers to new products, provide samples where appropriate, and help shops find the products that fit how they work
  • Keep notes on customers, buying habits, follow-ups, requests, and opportunities
  • Help find new shops and turn them into regular customers
  • Wrap up each route day by reconciling sales, inventory, follow-ups, and any customer issues
  • Check in regularly with management about what is working, what customers are asking for, and how the route is growing

How the Pay Works

Your base is guaranteed and does not depend on sales.

Commission and performance bonuses are the upside. They are uncapped, and they are tied to how well you build and grow the route.

Final compensation will depend on schedule, performance, and whether the role is structured as full-time or part-time.

Schedule

This role can be full-time or part-time for the right person.

Tuesday through Saturday availability is preferred because those are the strongest shop-visit days. Routes are generally scheduled during shop-heavy hours, usually late morning through early evening.

Part-time is expected to average roughly 24 to 32 hours per week.

Full-time may be available for a candidate who can help build the route, open accounts, manage customer follow-up, and take on more responsibility as the territory grows.

Occasional convention, event, or weekend coverage may come up with advance notice.

You Will Love This Job If

  • You are genuinely into the tattoo, piercing, and PMU world
  • You like people and you are good with them
  • You would rather be out on the road than stuck behind a desk
  • You are comfortable walking into a shop and starting a real conversation
  • You can sell without sounding fake or pushy
  • You are reliable, organized, and do what you say you will do
  • You like the idea of helping build something new

What You Need

  • A clean Florida driver's license and clean driving record
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day
  • Comfort using simple tech, including a tablet POS system, route app, phone, and basic reporting
  • Sales or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred
  • Tattoo, piercing, PMU, route sales, wholesale, delivery, or outside sales experience is a plus
  • Industry knowledge helps, but we will train the right person
  • You must be dependable, professional, and trustworthy
  • A passed pre-employment background check

What We Provide

  • W-2 employment with workers' compensation coverage
  • Paid time off, starting after your first 90 days
  • Company van, fuel, and equipment provided
  • Mobile POS tablet
  • Work phone or phone stipend
  • Branded gear
  • Product training
  • A new route with real room to grow
  • The chance to build relationships in the professional tattoo, piercing, and PMU industries every week

How to Apply

Apply through ZipRecruiter with your resume or a quick rundown of your work history.

Please include any experience you have in sales, customer service, tattooing, piercing, PMU, route sales, wholesale distribution, delivery, warehouse operations, or retail.

If you have been looking for a job that connects to something you actually care about, this is it.
