Job description

Description
A funded postdoctoral associate position is available in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Yale School of Public Health. Research projects will focus on microbial metabolomics, host-microbial interactions, and colorectal cancer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead metabolite identification and downstream translational analyses, while also developing independent research directions related to microbiome metabolism, cancer metabolomics, environmental exposures, tumor biology, or host-microbial interactions.
Our Lab provides a collaborative and supportive research environment, with access to metabolomics platforms and opportunities for professional development. There is also scope to branch into related projects across cancer metabolomics, early-onset colorectal cancer, environmental exposures, microbiome-derived metabolites, and host-microbial interactions.
Salary will be based on the Yale Postdoctoral Compensation policy. Support for travel to conferences and professional development activities are available.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, with demonstrated hands-on experience in LC-MS-based metabolomics. The candidate will also be encouraged to apply for external postdoctoral funding and contribute to grant applications.
