Microbiology Lab Technician

• Perform routine microbiology testing on dietary supplement samples.
• Prepare samples and media for laboratory analysis.
• Conduct plating, dilution, and microbial testing following established procedures.
• Use pipettes and laboratory equipment to process samples.
• Document testing results and maintain accurate records.
• Follow laboratory safety guidelines and aseptic techniques.
• Work with team members to meet testing deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related Life Science field.
• Laboratory experience through coursework, research, or internships.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a laboratory career.

• USP microbiology testing methods
• Pathogen testing (E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria)
• Microbial enumeration and plate count techniques
• Aseptic techniques and contamination control
• PCR and ELISA methodologies
• Probiotic testing and flow cytometry
• Working with proprietary blends and specialized sample types

• Hands-on laboratory role within a collaborative microbiology team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
