Medical Device Assembler

SmartTalent Kirkland is seeking to hire experienced medical device assemblers for a medical device company in Redmond, WA.Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of previous assembly experience.

LOCATION:Redmond, WA

PAY: $23 - $26

*Pay depends on shift and experience level

SCHEDULE:

First Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:30am - 3pm

Second Shift: Monday – Thursday 3pm - 130am

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Responsible for assembling and producing prepped components, subassemblies, and finished goods while utilizing a microscope and various equipment, including grinders, rubber wheels, satin wheels, bead blasters, micro blasters, armor presses, steamers, and more.

·Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.

·Build products in compliance with GMP guidelines and training.

·Follow all standard operating procedures, drawings, and policies.

·Meet takt time requirements as specified in the job router.

·Verify component specifications through precise measurements.

·Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and guidelines.

·Contribute to team success by cross-training in different areas.

·Support overtime as needed.

·Collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:

·Minimum of 6 months of experience.

·Basic math skills.

·Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.

·Experience using a microscope and basic measuring tools, such as calipers and comparators.

·Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

·Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and standing for extended periods (4x10-hour shifts).

·Proficiency in reading and writing English.

·Medical device experience is a plus.
