Job description

We need someone motivated to do repeatable tasks in the thousands of units for a small smart watch that needs to be assembled. Need to be good at handling small electronics and precision assembly. Using tweezers to install small gaskets, laying down small VHB tape adhesive, screwing together enclosure with micro screws, high attention to detail, applying glue/epoxy to housing and clamp together. Will also be running tests scripts on thousands of pcbs and running tests on them. Depending on reliability and skills, potential for full time position. For now it is only parttime/temporary. Hours are flexible, we need at least 20-40 hours per week needed, weekends or nights are also options. We will show you how to do every task in detail, and training will be provided. The main thing is that you can handle small components with care and ease.

  • Precision Assembly: Fine-motor dexterity, working under magnification/microscopes, handling delicate FPC/FFC flex cables, and micro-housing snap-fits.
  • Testing & Flashing: Executing automated test scripts (via Python, Bash, or custom software), flashing firmware, and logging pass/fail telemetry.
  • Quality & Safety: ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices, IPC quality standards (e.g., IPC-A-610), and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • High-Volume Manufacturing: Experience maintaining high throughput, tracking yields, and performing repetitive tasks with high precision.
