Job Summary
MICDS is accepting applications for a Assistant Varsity Football Coach. Applicants must meet Missouri State High School Athletic Association requirements for position and Sports First Aid requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior coaching or playing experience, enthusiasm for leading student athletes, and strong athletic and personal references.
This position is a part-time position that is not benefit eligible. However, the position can be combined with a full-time classroom teaching position--in a subject area that coincides with our current needs-in which case a very competitive and extensive benefit package will be included.
Duties Include
  • Effectively supervise, design, and help oversee practices.
  • Work with the head coach to foster team growth.
  • Reinforce program values through modeling and teaching.
  • Travel as needed for contests.
  • Be part of an off-season program
  • Work with our Head Football Coach to continue to promote football on our campus which may include summer camp opportunities.
