Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location and Role Details

Location: Fairbanks, Alaska

Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

Clients are looking for a therapist who can listen closely, ask useful questions, and keep care moving forward. You may support clients through communication challenges, family stress, relationship patterns, conflict, transitions, and emotional strain. The position is listed in Fairbanks, but the daily work happens through a secure virtual care model. The best candidate will be organized, thoughtful, and comfortable providing care in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities

        Maintain ethical boundaries and secure remote care practices

        Coordinate referrals or added support when clinically appropriate

        Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress updates

        Provide therapy for individuals, couples, or family-related concerns as assigned

Requirements

        Active Alaska LMFT license in good standing

        Ability to help clients explore relationship patterns while keeping care practical and respectful

        Sound clinical judgment and comfort managing a full-time virtual caseload

        Master's degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field

        Experience supporting individuals, couples, families, or relationship-centered clinical concerns
