As an LMFT, your main responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, helping them navigate a range of issues such as conflicts, communication difficulties, and adjustment to life changes.
• Providing individual therapy sessions for members of families to address personal challenges while integrating familial dynamics.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions relevant to alcohol abuse, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and more.
• Offering teletherapy services to accommodate clients' needs and maintaining adherence to best practices in remote patient care.
• Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes using appropriate systems and methodologies to ensure compliance and accountability.

Your work will primarily center around the following areas:

• Conflict resolution among family members, including siblings and parental relationships.
• Support for patients dealing with substance abuse issues, traumatic experiences, and grief.
• Strategies to assist families in adjusting to separations, divorces, and transitions such as remarriage or blending families.
• Enhancing communication skills within families, especially in situations involving mother/daughter conflicts.
• Providing guidance for patients experiencing stress due to job-related challenges or medical issues.

We are looking for qualified candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and cultural competency while working with diverse populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team, fostering a collegial and respectful atmosphere.

While not mandatory, the following attributes and experiences may enhance your application:

• Experience in providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and the use of digital tools in therapy.
• Previous work within community health clinics or similar settings.
