Position Overview

Harmony House Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services to clients seeking outpatient care, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each unique case.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients’ relational, emotional, and mental health needs, developing customized treatment plans and setting achievable objectives.
• Utilize family systems theory and other systemic interventions to skillfully address relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and family stressors.
• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of both clients and their families.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate clients on effective communication, conflict resolution strategies, and coping mechanisms to enhance their relational and emotional health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers—ensuring comprehensive and integrated care for all clients.
• Continuously engage in professional development by staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy through workshops, courses, and readings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Harmony House, our patient population encompasses a wide range of age groups and backgrounds, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our services address issues such as relational dysfunctions, communication difficulties, and various emotional difficulties.

Qualifications

• A current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of practice.
• A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three years of experience in clinical practice, specifically in outpatient therapy settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a clear commitment to ethical and client-centered therapeutic practices.
• A demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of clients, ensuring maximum availability and support.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy and a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities commonly employed in couples and family therapy contexts.
• Familiarity with diverse cultural backgrounds and an ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of clients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide:
