B&A Precision, a CNC job shop which has been in business for over 50 years manufacturingcomponents for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries, is seeking an energeticmanufacturing/Programming Engineer with the following skill sets:

Key functions:

1. Process planning for new and repeat customer orders.

2. Working knowledge of NDT, heat treatment, and coating processes as they relate to processing of

aerospace, defense, and medical parts.

3. Create and/or edit inspection sheets for the shop floor.

4. Generate CNC programs for lathes and mills.

a. 2 and 3 axis lathes

b. Lathes with bar feeders

c. 3, 4, & 5 axis mills

5. Select and order cutting tools and holders necessary for part manufacturing.

6. Determine, select, and place tooling orders, such as lathe jaws and fixtures for milling machines.

7. Experience with machining stainless steel and aluminum.

8. Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) first article lots.

9. Assist with shop scheduling process.

10. Trouble shoot manufacturing processes on the floor as necessary.

11. Working knowledge of CAD/CAM and DNC systems.

12. Assist in generating estimates for new business.

13. Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.

14. An associate or bachelor’s degree is desirable, or equivalent experience will be considered.

15. This is a full-time, 1st shift position and pays an extremely competitive salary.
