Maintenance Technician โ€“ New Mexico (Relocation Opportunity)

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking to put your expertise to work on highโ€‘precision metalworking equipment โ€” and open to relocating to New Mexico? Join Productivity, Inc. โ€” a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968.

Weโ€™re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with industrial maintenance experience and formal electrical training to support customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment.

This role supports our customers throughout New Mexico (primarily Albuquerque and surrounding areas). Candidates outside the region are encouraged to apply โ€” relocation assistance is available.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines
  • Machine installations and setup
  • Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
  • Travel locally to customer sites, with 4โ€“6 overnights per month

What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi experience helpful)
  • Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electroโ€‘mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Excellent problemโ€‘solving and customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and relocate to New Mexico
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record
