Location: Conyers, GA (Metro Atlanta)
Engagement Type: Contract
Work Mode: Onsite
Duration: July 20, 2026 – June 30, 2027 (~11.5 months)

Role Overview:
A Georgia state agency's IT department seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist 3 to maintain business applications, critical infrastructure, and specialized systems. The role involves cloud environment management, end-user support, incident triage, and automation — requiring someone who stays current with emerging technologies and is committed to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support scalable cloud environments; design and build internal cloud applications

  • Monitor and manage ServiceNow ticket queue; triage production incidents and coordinate resolution with partners

  • Troubleshoot and support PCs, laptops (Win 10/11), scanners, printers, Chromebooks, and field systems

  • Implement automation and provisioning using AWS CLI and Terraform

  • Support lobby management software, A/V systems, VRT cameras, and mobile systems

  • Make hardware/software recommendations and identify opportunities to digitize operations

  • Perform post-incident reviews and implement measures to prevent recurrence

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–3+ years of IT support and infrastructure management experience

  • Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting (3+ years)

  • Microsoft Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy (2+ years)

  • Desktop hardware, OS (Windows 10/11), and application software installation and troubleshooting (2+ years)

  • TCP/IP network issue resolution (2+ years)

  • ServiceNow ticketing system (2+ years)

  • AWS CLI and Terraform — automation and provisioning (2+ years)

  • Professional certification required: A+, Network+, Cloud+, or equivalent (must upload at submission)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting video conferencing, A/V, and dash cam equipment

  • Familiarity with lobby management or queue management software (e.g., Nemo Q/GALA)

Additional Details:
Standard business hours, 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday. Fully onsite — no remote work permitted. Candidate must be local to the Metro Atlanta area. Position is contingent on customer renewal and funding availability.
