Facilities Manager
Reports to: VP of Procurement & Wholesale
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Production
Location: 7550 Industrial Dr, Forest Park, IL 60130
Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Position Summary:
The Facilities Manager oversees daily operations within Mint Cannabis' Illinois production facility, ensuring efficient workflows, safety compliance, and product quality. This role leads cross-functional teams in cultivation, manufacturing, and facility operations while maintaining strict adherence to state cannabis regulations, OSHA, and GMP standards. The facilities manager drives performance across people, processes, and production infrastructure to achieve company goals for yield, quality, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and mentor production teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Train and supervise technicians and staff to ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Assign daily tasks, oversee work quality, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Partner with HR and department leaders on staffing, scheduling, and professional development initiatives.

Production & Facility Operations
  • Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and efficiency standards.
  • Manage facility systems, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and environmental controls.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance logs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, materials, and outsourced services.
  • Establish and meet production KPIs, including throughput, quality control, and yield improvement.
  • Implement Just-In-Time inventory practices and manage materials, packaging, and finished goods.

Compliance & Safety Management
