POSITION SUMMARY The Inventory Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the inventory team and flow of the inventory within the dispensary. The Inventory Operations Supervisor is also responsible for adhering to company SOP's/state regulations regarding inventory receiving, packaging, and processing. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain daily stock of product on sales floor. • Execute and follow up on operational standards, policies and procedures. • Implement inventory tracking systems designated by Management. • Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies within retail stores. • Maintain and track levels of all supplies within the dispensary. • Research and correct any product variances within the inventory tracking system. • Inform Management of upcoming inventory needs. • Maintain compliance with all state-regulated inventory documentation. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Ensure accuracy and compliance of cannabis deliveries. • Assist in inventory audit processes; and ensure physical inventory counts match all inventory tracking systems. • Actively implement and monitor inventory procedures to optimize operational efficiencies. • All other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • Interviewing, hiring, and training. • Onboarding new hires. • Staffing needs analysis and workplace planning. • Assigning and directing work priorities, scheduling needs, and evaluating performance of direct reports. • Recognizing and rewarding exceptional work, disciplining poor work or performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems. • Meeting weekly with staff to discuss ideas, successes, and ways to improve and escalates any concerns to upper management. • Maintaining a work environment that fosters equal employment opportunities, employee development and communication. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. • Must be able to work onsite. • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Must be able to pass background check. • Ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of working in a cannabis retail capacity and have knowledge of METRC. • Preferred Education: College Degree with a focus in business, math, or science.
