Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Utilities Meter-to-Cash Technical Lead with strong technical and functional expertise in Customer Information Systems (CIS). The role requires hands-on ownership of user stories from solutioning through deployment, close collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth, conflict-free releases with proper test coverage.
Experience:
10+ Years (Utilities Meter-to-Cash Domain Mandatory)
Education:
BA/BS degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Domain & Functional Expertise
  • Leverage 10+ years of Utilities Meter-to-Cash experience with strong understanding of billing, collections, payments, metering, and customer lifecycle processes.
  • Work extensively with Utilities Customer Information Systems (CIS).

Solutioning & Development
  • Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to define detailed technical specifications.
  • Translate high-level solution designs into executable development tasks.
  • Develop, test, and deploy user stories of varying complexity to lower environments.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and business process definitions.
  • Own delivery of assigned user stories end-to-end (analysis, development, testing, deployment).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with Product Owner, Enterprise Architect, System Analysts, Scrum Master, and cross-functional teams.
  • Interact with third-party vendors as required to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with sprint goals.

Release & Quality Management
  • Ensure smooth, conflict-free releases with appropriate test coverage.
  • Manage and update stories using Jira.
  • Support UAT and defect resolution processes.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of Utilities Meter-to-Cash experience.
  • Strong experience with Utilities Customer Information Systems (CIS).
  • Ability to define technical specifications from high-level solution designs.
  • Strong SDLC and Agile delivery experience.
  • Experience managing end-to-end user story lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.
